PRESENT WEATHER :
SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Homonhon Island, Eastern Samar (10.7°N, 125.8°E). Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 330 km West of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.2°N, 115.8°E). Shear Line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
FORECAST 12-HR RAINFALL :
moderate to occasionally heavy rains.
WATERCOURSES STILL LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
QUEZON – Rivers and its tributaries particularly Upper Umiray, Lower Bolbok (Lawaya), Malaking-Ilog, Iyam, Macalelon, Catanauan, Silongin Lagda, Pagsanjan, Yabahaan, Bigol, Guinhalinan, Vinas, Calauag, Pandanan, Sta. Lucia, Lugan Malaybalay, Maapon, Bucal (Lalangan), Lakayat, Tignoan, Agos, Anibawan (Polilio Island) and Upper Kilbay – Catabangan..
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils concerned advised to be alert for possible flashfloods.
